We are pleased to announce that the 2011 Newmarket Ride has raised over £17,000
so far for Macmillan Cancer Support and would like to thank everyone who took part
and worked so hard to get sponsors.
We would also like to thank the Jockey Club and the National Stud for their
continued support and assistance, and of course, all the volunteers,
without whom the Ride could not take place.
We had over 350 entries and 260 riders on the day -
which didn’t seem to affect anyone’s enthusiasm.
This year’s Ride Winners (those who raised the most sponsor money) were:-

THE DATE OF THE NEXT RIDE IS SUNDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2012
As the Heath closes at 4.30, it is vital that everyone completes their chosen distance
by that time, so if you are planning to do the 20 mile ride, please try and
enter well in advance, so that you can secure an early time slot.
As we are trying to provide more information and downloadable forms
on the web site in 2012, we would welcome any suggestions or ideas.
