On September 30th this year (2011) the Newmarket committee decided to hold a
Coffee Morning for Macmillan (The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning).
We were lucky enough to be able to use the beautiful grounds at
Chippenham Park (www.chippenhamparkgardens.info) near Newmarket
and the weather was glorious.  We worked hard to promote the event and
were rewarded with an amazing turnout of people and dogs, exciting stalls
and scrumptious donated cakes.
Over £2000 was raised for Macmillan and it seems that the Coffee Morning
will now be an annual occurrence!
